Oredigger Athletics Fundraiser February 14th at the Butte Depot

Today would be a very bad day to challenge the success of Montana Tech Athletics.  The Football Team is 9-0.  Both basketball teams are 3-0.  Tech Volleyball is wrapping up another winning season with the postseason on the horizon.  The program is also seeing incredible success in Track & Field, Golf and Cross Country.  But success comes with a price.

One of Montana Tech's strengths in recruiting and retainment is the quality of its campus and training facility.  The HPER was recently renovated and features a professional grade weight room.  Bob Green Field and Kelvin Sampson Court are immaculately maintained and provide a huge boost on gameday.  There are travel expenses, gear, uniforms and expenses too numerous to list.  But here in the Mining City, we certainly support our sports programs, particularly when they are winning.

Digger Athletics invites you to "Dig Deep", a rally and fundraiser taking place at the Butte Depot at 818 S. Arizona.  A high-energy evening is planned calcutta-style where each attendee will be given a numbered ping pong ball that could win you some cool prizes as the night goes on.  The final three balls remaining will win cash prizes.  Casagranda's will be catering the event so you can look forward to fantastic appetizers as well.  A silent auction of Caddy Digger Gear is planned and all proceeds benefit Montana Tech Athletics.  Doors open at 6 with cocktails and they will start drawing balls out of the hopper at 8pm.
