Believe in ghosts? You might after this tour.
What is the most haunted place in Butte? This is a question that can have many answers depending on who you ask and even what you believe. With our town's rough and tumble history, particularly in terms of labor, lawlessness and even corruption, one could argue the courthouse, the Dumas Brothel or any one of Butte's many minyards holds that title. There have been weird things reported at the Silver Bow Club. The Vu Villa. The list goes on and on.

One of the true characters of Butte today is Chris Fisk who has gained notoriety as an award winning Montana historian and teacher, as a local tour guide and as a paranormal investigator. Fisk has been hunting ghosts both privately and publicly as the guide on the popular "Spooks and Spirits" tour which for years has delighted and frightened those brave enough to buy a ticket. As we head towards Halloween, Chris and a friend are going to kick it up a notch with a series of nighttime tours that will explore some of the most notoriously haunted sites in the Mining City.
Spooks and Spirits presents "The Black Heart of Montana Haunts", a terrifying night of haunted history and interactive ghost hunting with Fish and fellow historian Tony Hoffman. This tour has the potential to be intense and as such it is intended only for those 18 years of age and older.
Sound good? Tickets are $30 per person and tours are set for October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th with pick up at 6pm and drop off at 9pm at the Scandia Bar on Main Street.
