
Butte Bulldogs ready for busy week of athletics
A busy week of Spring sporting activities opens Tuesday for the Butte High Bulldogs and here is where you will be able to catch their teams in action.
SOFTBALL
Three games are in store for the girls this week. On Tuesday the Bulldogs will host the Helena Capital Bruins with the varsity game at 3pm and the JV contest at 5pm. On Thursday the ladies will head to Helena to meet the Helena High Bengals with again the varsity game at 3pm and the JV game at 5pm. On Saturday they will be on the road again heading to the Great Falls Crossover with varsity games set for noon and 2pm
BASEBALL
A mini homestand awaits Bulldog fans this week as the baseball team will be at 3 Legends Stadim at Copper Mountain Park hosting the Belgrade Panthers on Tuesday with the varsity game at 3 and the JV game at 5. On Saturday the Hamilton Broncs come to town with the first pitch at 11am for the varsity and 1pm for the JVs.
TRACK & FIELD
On Tuesday the Bulldogs will head to Helena’s Vigilante Stadium for a triangular meet with the Helena Capital Bruins and the Missoula Sentinel Spartans. Events begin at 1pm. On Friday the Bulldogs will host a dual meet against Kalispell’s Glacier Wolfpack with events starting at 2pm.
TENNIS
The Bulldog tennis team is on the road this week. On Thursday it’s Missoula’s Playfair Park for a date with Missoula Hellgate and Missoula Sentinel with matches starting at 10am. On Saturday it’s the Pioneer Park Tennis Courts in Billings where they will meet Billings Skyview at 11am and Billings Senior at 2pm.
