While Dolly Parton's fans in Southwest Montana may never get the chance to see the late legend perform again, perhaps the next-best thing is headed our way.  Kelly O'Brien will bring an evening of rhinestone-studded glamour and music to town as here acclaimed Dolly Parton tribute show comes to Butte's Mother Lode Theater on November 1st.

O'Brien is recognized internationally for her portrayal of the late country music legend, earning praise for capturing Dolly Parton's distinctive appearance, voice and personality.  Her performance has even received recognition from the Parton family as she was selected by Dolly Parton Enterprises to serve as Parton's official body double for film productions.

Her show, The Dolly Show, is a full-scale theatrical concert featuring a live band and songs spanning Dolly's storied, decades-long career.  Audiences can expect such favorites as "Jolene", "9 to 5", "Islands in the Stream" and "I Will Always Love You" among many more.  Along with powerhouse vocals, the production features comedy, elaborate costumes and the warm, engaging stage presence that has made Dolly Parton a household name around the world.

O'Brien's career, in her own right, has spanned more than 20 years, beginning in South Australia where she won a national competition to a role in Germany's Starlight Express.  It was that appearance that helped her launch an international career in television, music, theater and live entertaiment.

Showtime is set for 7pm and advance tickets, along with a chance to take advantage of special room rates for patrons, are available on the Mother Lode's website.
