We have officially reached the end of the 2025-26 school year and thus, the spring sports season will come to an exciting close with state baseball, softball, and track & field tournaments and meets taking place this weekend. Here is to where the Butte High Bulldogs will be sending teams and athletes this week.

BASEBALL - BUTTE

The Bulldogs earned a place at this weekend's State Tournament in Butte with a thrilling walk off win over Flathead High last Thursday.  They enter State as the 4th seed out of the western division and will face Gallatin High in the first round at 4pm on Thursday.  Here is the complete 2026 State AA Baseball bracket.  The tournament will run Thursday through Saturday at Copper Mountain Park, primarily at 3 Legends Stadium.

SOFTBALL - MISSOULA

The Butte High Softball Team also heads to state as the 4th seed out of the west and will face the Billings West Golden Bears in the first round.  The State Tournament will be played at Fort Missoula Park in Missoula and will also run Thursday through Saturday.  Here is the complete 2026 State AA Softball bracket.

TRACK & FIELD - MISSOULA

Qualifying athletes from the Butte High Track & Field team will head to Missoula for the State AA meet which will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Missoula County Public Schools Stadium.  Events will get underway at 3pm on Thursday and are set to start at 9am on both Friday and Saturday mornings.
