What To Know About This Week's Butte High Sports Schedule

The weather may be finally starting to turn for the good and that means there are plenty of chances this week to catch the Butte High sports teams in action. Here is what they're doing this week team-by-team.

TRACK & FIELD

The Bulldog track and field teams will be home for a pair of meets this week. On Tuesday they will host the Dillon Beavers in a dual meet at Bulldog Memorial Stadium with events slated for a 3pm start. On Saturday the Bulldogs boys will host the Dahlberg Invitational with events beginning at 11am while the girls will head to the Optomist Meet in Great Falls with events also slated for an 11am start.

TENNIS

Saturday is the Western AA Divsional in Missoula with events at Playfair Park beginning at 9am.

SOFTBALL

Butte High's softball team will see action this week at Stodden Park Field #1 early in the week and hit the road this weekend. On Monday the Bulldogs will host Missoula Hellgate with the varsity game at 3pm and the JV contest at 5pm. On Tuesday the same schedule will be followed when Butte High hosts Missoula Big Sky. The Bulldogs will head to the Flathead Valley over the weekend taking on the Flathead Braves on Friday with the JV game at 3pm and the varsity contest at 5pm. On Saturday it will be the Glacier Wolfpack with the JV contest at 10am and the varsity game at noon.

BASEBALL

A single contest is on tap for the Bulldog baseball team this week as they head to Missoula to take on the Big Sky Eagles. The JV contest is scheduled for 2:30pm and the varsity game at 5pm.
