Butte Music Experience (BMX) Showcase Concert Saturday at Butte’s Covellite Theater
The future of live music in Butte and Southwest Montana will be on full display and in concert-mode this Saturday night at the Covellite Theater in Uptown Butte hosts the Fall Season Showcase, the end of season performance by every student involved in the Butte Music Experience (BMX) program.
WHAT IS THE BUTTE MUSIC EXPERIENCE?
The Butte Music Experience was started to help students, young and old, discover the excitement and joy of playing in a real band environment. All ages and skill levels are welcome to take part. The students practice weekly, learning songs by practicing alongside their peers. Each season lasts four months and concludes with a grand performance as the students share the stage with fellow musicians for a performance for friends, family and the community.
Taking the stage will be all Butte Music Experience groups, including the Saturday and Monday student bands, along with the BMXtra Terrestrials, a select group of young musicians who you may have seen performing additional gigs throughout the community.
HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
Showtime is 7pm Saturday, January 3rd at the Covellite Theater at 215 W. Broadway, doors open at 6pm. Tickets are $15 at the door but guests can save money by purchasing their tickets in advance.
There is nothing these young, talented musicians would appreciate more than a big, receptive crowd so please consider bringing the whole family. Get to the Covellite Theater Saturday night to cheer on Butte’s next generation of musicians and experience the energy, talent, and heart of this growing creative community.
