Get ready to celebrate local creativity as Covellite Theatre showcases the stunning work of Brooke Wilson-Hack this Friday evening.

The corner of Idaho and Broadway streets on Saturday night may resemble the corner of Haight and Ashbury in San Francisco on any given night during the Summer of Love as one of Montana's premiere Grateful Dead tribute acts takes the stage at Butte's Covellite Theater. 710 Ashbury, a 4-piece band out of Helena will play at 7pm and they have been getting rave reviews all across Southwest Montana.

The BMX Winter Season is in its final weeks and will culminate with a showcase concert that is a great show even if you just want to sit back and watch. The show is this Friday at the Covellite Theater at 7pm. All of the BMX students will perform including the Saturday kids whose band name is the Sea Serpents, the Monday kids who go by The Seekers and a small, hand-picked group of kids who are the "show band" who you may have even seen around town performing as the BMXtra Terrestrials. The show will also feature a performance from the Sunday adult group whose moniker is SedimenTerry.

Saturday night the Covellite Theater on Broadway in Uptown Butte is going to be swinging with a trio of impressive Americana/Folk/Bluegrass bands taking the main stage.

Wednesday is "Free Movie Night" at the Covellite Theater, 215 W. Broadway and April is definitely taking a Tarantino tint. Here is a look at April's movie schedule. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show on the big screen starts at 8pm. Admission is free although donations are encouraged. Popcorn is free, beverages are available for purchase in the bar area and takeout from local businesses is always a good idea.

Friday evening, the Covellite Theater, 215 W. Broadway, in Uptown Butte will be showcasing the Featured Artist of the Month, Walkerville's Gabrielle Drew, with a reception and showcase from 5 to 7pm. You are invited to meet Gabby and even purchase one of her pieces.

"Love in the Rockies", the latest original production opens tonight at Butte's Covellite Theater. It's premise? Two drastically different couples wind up booking the same Air BnB in Leadville, Colorado over Valentine's Day weekend and as luck would have it, they become snowed in.

One of Butte's most popular and talented singer/songwriters will be part of an incredible "songwriters in the round" performance this weekend at one of Butte's best venues for live music and concerts. Local favorite Chad Okrusch will be joined by fellow Montana songwriters Lee Calvin and Jarret Kostrba this Saturday at the Covellite Theater for "Montana Roots: Americana Songwriters Showcase".

If there is one bright spot in the days following the return of Daylight Savings Time it is, well, the return of Dark. Dark Sevier, that is. Tuesday night at the Covellite Theater, 215 W. Broadway in Uptown Butte, the “Dark Nights of Winter” open mic series begins its second season after an impressive run on the soapbox in the commons last year. All ages and styles of performance are welcome and encouraged to participate.
