St. James Foundation’s “Sip and Support” wine and beer tasting gala Thursday at Finlen Ballroom

Butte's historic Finlen Hotel Ballroom will be the setting for an elegant evening of wine and beer tasting, appetizers, music and fun as the St. James Foundation's annual "Sip and Support" fundraiser takes place on Thursday evening, November 20th.  The Foundation is collaborating with Summit Beverage of Butte, brining you an unforgettable evening featuring vendors from all across the Pacific Northwest as well as decadent food from Pintler View Catering.  Proceeds from this year's event will support St. James Cancer Center & Women's Imaging.

What is the St. James Foundation?  Possibly one of our town's most important and most relied upon charitable organization.  Formed in 2003, the St. James Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is:

• Raising money to augment capital purchases and devolopment at Butte's St. James Hospital.
• Providing direct assistance to individuals and organizations in Southwest Montana in regards to health care and healthy living.
• Conducting awareness and outreach activities that maintain the hospital and foundation as visible partners in our community, improving the living experience of not only residents but visitors as well.

A very important aspect of their fundraising efforts is that 100 percent of all donations and contributions go directly to helping people in need as the hospital itself covers the foundation's administrative costs.  The Sip and Support Gala is incredibly important.  Last year's event raised over $25,000 that went towards St. James Therapy Services.
