We are heading into the winter season’s homestretch as wrestlers from both Butte High and Butte Central head to State and both school’s basketball programs finish up their regular seasons. Here is where you will find the Bulldogs and Maroons in action this week:

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH

Butte Central’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will head to East Helena for a late nonconference series with the Vigilantes. On the boys side the frosh and the JV teams will play at East Helena Middle School and will start at 3pm and 4:30pm respectively. The varsity contest is set for 6pm at East Helena High School. The girls’ games will all be played at East Helena High School. The frosh are scheduled for 3pm, the JVs at 4:30pm and the varsities at 7:30pm.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19

State Wrestling begins for qualifiers from Butte High and Butte Central at MetraPark Arena in Billings. Thursday’s competition begins at 4pm.

Butte High’s girls basketball team will be at home for Senior Parent Night and will host the Missoula Hellgate Knights. The freshmen and sophomores will both tip off at 4pm, the JVs will play at 5:30pm and the varsity game is set for a 7pm start.

The Bulldog boys are on the road at Missoula Hellgate. The boys games will follow the same schedule as the girls.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20

State Wrestling continues for the Bulldogs and Maroons with matches starting Friday at 10am.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21

State Wrestling concludes in Billings. Saturday’s matches begin at 9am.

Butte Central’s girls basketball team is on the road playing at Corvallis. The freshmen play at noon, the JVs at 1:30 and the varsities at 3pm. The Maroon boys are home and will host Corvallis at the Maroon Activities Center. The boys games will follow the same schedule as the girls.
