The dates have been set for this year's Butte Vigilante Pro Rodeo at the Butte Vigilante Rodeo Grounds and Don Harrington Arena at 6354 Albany. Exciting PRCA and WPRA rodeo events are back along with an array of extracurricular activities including Mutton Bustin' and live music. This year's rodeo is presented by 406heart, a local nonprofit.

With just a few weeks until the first notes of the 2024 Montana Folk Festival, more specific needs for volunteers are becoming clear. Festival organizers are inviting new volunteers for the 2024 Festival on July 12, 13 and 14 and updating their database for returning volunteers, too.

Folk singer-songwriter Willie Watson will return to Montana in 2024, performing at the Top Hat in Missoula on November 11th and the Rialto in Bozeman on November 12th.

Colt Anderson's Dream Big Foundation has set the dates and locations for the Dream Big Montana Experience 2024, and it is safe to say that Uptown Butte will be rocking on Thursday and Friday, June 27th and 28th with everything from a Tim Montana concert to a football skills camp.

The Silver Bow Event Center is thrilled to announce its grand opening on Saturday, June 22, 2024, located at 122040 Nissler Road in Rocker, MT. The celebration will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Butte Chamber of Commerce at 6:00 PM, followed by a highly anticipated opening concert featuring the beloved Butte band, High Ore Road, starting at 7:00 PM.

It's not often that Butte gets a Blues Music Awards Female Artist of the Year putting on a show. How about a two-time winner? Well, we've got one coming back to town this Saturday as Annika Chambers is no stranger to Butte having played the Folk Festival previously. And the gentleman she'll be performing with is no slouch either.

As far as local charitable organizations go, you won't find any better than Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Butte and when it comes to local car shows and concerts along with a few of the area's best food trucks and a trailer full of ice-cold beverages, well, you're not going to top Rhythm and Brews. It only stands to reason that this year's event is going to be one of the best in its' short history as the date has been set, the Original Mineyard has been reserved and now the musical lineup has been announced.

Even by his lofty, recent standards, this has to be big for Tim Montana. 2025 will get off with a big bang as Tim has been announced as the supporting act for Myles Kennedy's "The Art of Letting Go" 2025 U.S.-Canada Tour which will kick off January 18th in Joliet, Indiana and wrap up in Kennedy's hometown of Spokane, Washington on February 21st.

Finding a young, local rock band these days is a challenge in itself. And, by nature, when you come across a young band, many of them simply don't have many years under their belt to have come together as a unit. But False Fiction is no ordinary band. Sure, they're young, but that's beside the point.

Finally, it's that time of year when you're not confined to a cramped cubicle, a crowded restaurant or, even worse, your car's interior while trying to enjoy lunch. With the sunshine and warm weather comes another season of Lunch in the Park at Emma Park which is going to get underway in just a couple of weeks.
