Something a little unpredictable is headed to the stage this weekend in Butte--and that's exactly the point.

On Friday, April 17th, the Covellite Theater will host the debut of the Covellite Players' first-ever improv showcase, "Nerdy Buttons."  Doors open at 6pm with the show kicking off at 6:30pm.  Audience members can expect around 2 hours of fun and laughter.

The concept is simple: bring your ideas and watch them come to life in real time.

The showcase features a team of quick-thinking, high-energy improvisers who will take suggestions from audience members and spin them into fast-paced scenes, games and unexpected storylines.  True to the show's name, performers will be dressed in their best "nerdy button-ups," leaning into both the theme and the playful chaos that defines improvisational comedy.

Unlike traditional theater, nothing in "Nerdy Buttons" is scripted.  That means that every joke, awkward pause, and laugh-out-loud moment is created on the spot.  The result"  A one-of-a-kind experience where no two shows, or even two scenes, are ever the same.

Audience members can expect a mix of creativity and unpredictability, with the possibility of being invited to participate.  Whether you're offering suggestions from your seat or simply enjoying the wild ride, the night promises plenty of surprises.

Tickets are priced at $10 in advance and you can get yours here.  Tickets will be priced at $15 at the door at the Covellite, 215 W. Broadway in Uptown Butte.

If you've ever had a random, funny idea and wondered where it might lead, this might be your chance to find out.
