Dance Corps Bingo Night Set For February 28th

The Dance Corps of Butte is inviting the community to grab a bingo card and join the fun later this month, all for a great cause.

The 8th annual Bingo Fundraiser for the Dance Corps will take place Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at Studio 6 Suites (formerly the War Bonnet Inn) at 2100 Cornell Avenue.  What started out eight years ago as a simple get together to support local dancers has grown into a lively evening packed with games, lots of prizes and plenty of hometown spirit.

Bingo will, of course, be front and center but organizers promise there's much more in store.  Those in attendance can expect food, music, a silent auction and a wide variety of prizes given away throughout the evening.  Whether you're a serious bingo strategist or just in it for the fun and laughter, the event is designed to be welcoming and family-friendly.  Everyone in Butte and Southwest Montana is invited to attend.

For the Dance Corps, the fundraiser plays a big role in keeping the program strong and accessible.  Like many youth and community-based organizations, the group is facing steadily rising costs.  Travel expenses to competitions and performances continue to climb, especially with rising fuel and lodging prices.  At the same time, the cost of costumes and performance props has increased significantly, adding pressure to their annual budget.

Organizers say that Bingo Night will help offset some of those expenses and ensure that dancers have the opportunity to represent Butte and Southwest Montana with high-quality performances.  Funds raised will go directly toward supporting team travel, purchasing costumes and materials and maintaining the props that bring routines to life on stage.

Community support has been the backbone of the fundraiser since its first year and organizers hope to see another strong turnout for this eight annual event.  With bingo cards in hand and music in the background it promises to be a night of fun that also helps local dancers keep moving forward.
