Butte Central, Butte High Spring Sports Season enters homestretch
We have come to the final 2 weekends of Spring Sports as Divisional qualifying tournaments have started for some activities and even a State Tournament starting for baseball. Here is a look at what Butte High and Butte Central will be doing this week.
TUESDAY, MAY 14
The Butte Central Tennis Team will be hosting the Western A Divisional Tennis Tournament at Stodden Park Courts. The Butte High Softball Team will be on the road in Kalispell to take on Flathead High School. The JVs and Varsities will both be playing 2 games, the first games at 1pm and the second games at 3pm.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 15
The Western A Divisional Tennis Tournament continues at Stodden Park Courts.
THURSDAY, MAY 16
The Western A Divisional Tennis Tournament will be in its final day at Stodden Park. The Butte High Tennis Team will be competing in the Western AA Divisional Tennis Tournament in Missoula. The Bulldog baseball team has qualified for the State Baseball Tournament which will be getting underway at Ogren Park in Missoula.
FRIDAY, MAY 17
The State Baseball Tournament will continue in Missoula while the Western AA Divisional Tennis Tournament will enter its final day with Butte High School involved in both. Butte Central's softball team will head to Polson for the Western A Divisional Softball Tournament while the Maroon Track and Field Team will head to Columbia Falls for the Western A Divisional Track and Field Meet. The Butte High Track and Field Team will be competing in the Western AA Divisional Track and Field Meet in Kalispell.
SATURDAY, MAY 18
The State Baseball Tournament will be crowing a champion in Missoula as the Western AA Divisional Track and Field Meet wraps up in Kalispell, the Western A Divisional Track and Field Meet concludes in Columbia Falls and the Western A Divisional Softball Tournament comes to a close in Polson. There is a sole regular-season contest scheduled as the Butte High Bulldogs Softball Team heads to Helena to face the Helena High School Bengals with the varsity contest at noon and the JVs scheduled for 2pm.
