Are you a fan of medieval times or a Renaissance atmosphere? Many people are, but let’s be honest, Montana isn’t exactly the first place you’d think to go if you’re itching to dress up like kings and queens, or belt out a bard song after a few ales. Sure, we’ve got the Montana Renaissance Festival that rolls through every year, but now, drumroll please, Billings has a brand-new spot to keep that energy alive year-round. Enter: Captain Scurvy’s Black Dragon Pub.

This isn’t your average dining out for burgers and fries. This is Montana’s first-ever pirate and medieval-themed restaurant, pub, and immersive experience. Located at 2601 Minnesota Avenue in the old Fieldhouse space, it opened its doors on May 9 and is already turning heads.

Step inside and you’ll find yourself wandering through differentrealmsof the establishment. There’s a knightly great hall, a fantasy forest, a pirate pub, and even an outdoor patio to complete the adventure.

"Step into the Black Dragon Den, where lanterns glow, laughter rings, and adventure stirs the air. More than a tavern, the Den is a gathering place — where knights, knaves, artisans, and minstrels unite. Camaraderie flows, and every meal tells a tale." - Captain Scurvy's Black Dragon Pub.
