Butte's Ace Hardware hosts second Cruise Nite of summer

Townsquare Media's second Cruise Nite of the summer was held Wednesday evening at Butte's Ace Hardware, 2607 Harrison Avenue and an impressive array of cars, trucks and motorcycles were on display.

In addition to an impressive number of classic cars and trucks, the Ace Hardware Cruise Nite also brought out quite a few noteworthy bikes.

Those in attendance voted on the "Peoples Choice" award, one for cars and trucks and one for motorcycles. The winner in the motorcycle category was Rocky Clark and his 1973 Triumph Trident.

The night's winner in the car and truck category was Fred Bjorgum and his gorgeous 1970 Challenger.

Amazingly, Fred said that the paint is original and the only work he's really done is some new wiring and some new rear tires that he said, for some reason, need frequent replacement. "The 440 just makes them go away," he said with a laugh.
