Orediggers Set For Exciting Volleyball Homestand At Kelvin Sampson Court

Montana Tech's volleyball team, on a four-match winning streak, get their opener at Kelvin Sampson Court tonight kicking off a three-match homestand that will coincide with a big home football game for the Orediggers on Saturday. Let's take a look at what the next few days have in store for the volleyball team.

VOLLEYBALL VS. MONTANA-WESTERN - WEDNESDAY 7PM

After opening Frontier Conference play last weekend by sweeping Mayville State 3-0 on Friday and outlasting Valley City State in 5 sets on Saturday, the Oredigger volleyball squad will return home Wednesday to face the Montana-Western Bulldogs. The Bulldogs, who received votes in the preseason coaches poll, are 3-3 on the young season and are on a 2-match losing streak after being swept on the road last weekend by Walla Walla and Keiser.

VOLLEYBALL VS. BISMARCK STATE - FRIDAY 7PM

The second set of the homestand will see the Diggs hosting Bismarck State. The Mystics are 2-5 overall including an 0-3 mark in league play and are on a three-match losing streak.

VOLLEYBALL VS. DICKINSON STATE - SATURDAY 5PM

The Orediggers will get a big test when Dickinson State comes to town on Saturday. The Blue Hawks are 7-1 overall, 3-0 in Frontier Conference plan and are on a three-match winning streak leading up to Friday's match at Montana-Western. Dickinson State has a pair of wins over ranked teams under their belt this year beating both #3 Bellevue University and #24 Dakota State University in five sets.
