It's a good time to be an Oredigger as both the Men's Football and Women's Volleyball teams have moved up in the national rankings as they take their respective winning streaks on the road this weekend.

VOLLEYBALL

The Oredigger Volleyball Team (9-2, 5-0 Frontier Conference) is as hot as a pistol right now, riding a seven-match winning streak and moving up to #19 in the latest NAIA Coaches Top 25 poll.  Their last win was an impressive 4-set win over a ranked school Dickinson State but they have no time to look up as the Orediggers will head to Nebraska Friday for a top-25 matchup with No. 5 and defending NAIA runner-up Bellevue before heading to Dakota State on Saturday.  Dakota State received votes in this week's poll.

FOOTBALL

The Oredigger Football team looks like a team on a mission right now.  They are 3-0 in nonconference play with impressive wins over two ranked teams in Montana-Western and Carroll College and a solid showing over Rocky Mountain College at home last Saturday.  This weekend the Orediggers will have another big test in another ranked team in #24 Southern Oregon.  The Red Raiders are 1-1 on the young season with a home win over Simpson University, 59-0, and a road loss to Western Oregon, 7-27.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Oredigger Cross Country program will head to the Garden City on Saturday, competing in the University of Montana Invite.  The Oredigger teams finished fourth in the season opening meet at the MSU Twilight Meet in Bozeman a few weeks back on August 29th.
