Thanksgiving Traditions & Recipes; Like It or Not
When it comes to Thanksgiving, you know right out the gate what your favorite foods were growing up and the ones that grace your "table of giving" today. Almost everyone from a young age remembers that aunt, uncle, cousin, friend or grandparent that made a special Thanksgiving entre or dessert just the way you like it. That being said, you couldn't imagine it being served any other way, or could you?

First Responder Parade for Butte's 'Incredible Hulk' is TONIGHT
#Hulk Strong...Yes, those words appeared in response to a Facebook post I first saw in September 2020. The post spoke of the Mascot Miracles Foundation and how they received word of a 5-year-old boy battling cancer by the name of Hulk in Butte, Montana, who was a big fan of first responders. Soon after, I witnessed and was enamored by more posts created by Hulk's father, Michael, who revealed the courage of this incredible little boy, his community ventures, and his intrigue with first responders. Anaconda's Hill & Fellow Griz Pumped after Calpoly "SNOWDOWN"
Anaconda's Hill & Fellow Griz Pumped after Calpoly "SNOWDOWN"
The start of last Saturday's Montana Griz Football game against Calpoly mirrored the definition, "THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM," in TWO WAYS. First, although cooler temperatures and a sense of winter were already in the air the night of November 5th's game, the wind was oddly calm. Then, just like that, in true Montana style, giant snowflakes dominated the field by the 2nd quarter at Washington Grizzly Stadium, leaving fans confident that Calpoly was about to take a beating. Undoubtedly, the showdown Calpoly endured had everything to do with "Griz Nation" skill. Seemingly though, the winter wonderland that prevailed during the game added nicely to their throwdown. By the time all was said and done, the Griz walked away with a 57 to 0 victory over Calpoly.
Butte WINTER Farmers' Market Starts This Saturday
Butte WINTER Farmers' Market Starts This Saturday
The Butte Winter Farmer's Market has been a huge success, so luckily, organizers are happy to bring it back beginning this Saturday, November 12th! Of course, it all takes place "indoors" in the Butte Plaza Mall as beautiful crops, and meticulous handmade crafts would turn into pure icicles otherwise. With the winter weather sometimes stifling people from getting from point A to point B, the "indoor" Butte Winter Farmer's Market gives people a chance to come together in a comfortable and accessible environment.

Ready to Vote on Tuesday? Some Insight and Sites to Help
Will you make your voice heard by casting your ballot, or will you choose to look away? Many people have already gone the route of mailing in their ballots, while many will rely on heading to the polls this Tuesday to vote. "IF" you still want to vote absentee, your ballot would need to make it to your county courthouse by noon tomorrow (November 7th). Across Montana, candidate seats will be on separate county ballots, along with state positions and initiatives. If you're on board to physically vote on November 8th, you still have time to review and determine what each candidate represents and what each initiative involves by visiting https://vote 411.org/montana. To find out where your precinct is to vote, visit https://app.mt.gov/voterinfo. Help is also available by checking with your county courthouse for additional concerns or questions.
First Thing That Comes to Mind When the Snow Starts to Fly
First Thing That Comes to Mind When the Snow Starts to Fly
There's no doubt; Autumn conditions this year have been very mild in Montana. Global warming or not, we had it pretty easy weather-wise the past two months, and there's no question that most of us were all about it. Sure, we had some storms come through, but nothing that stuck around for long. Then this weekend's weather shed new light on the subject as I witnessed several cars, COVERED IN SNOW, heading from Georgetown Lake outside of Anaconda. This observation meant one thing for certain; the snow is headed our way and possibly here to stay! After all, it is November, and whether we like it or not, it is climatically time for a change of seasons in Big Sky Country.

The Lady Copperheads Volleyball Team is all about the GAME, both LITERALLY and FIGURATIVELY this year, and fans couldn't be prouder! It has been an incredible season for the Lady Heads, and they will continue their diligence in a match-up this morning in Divisional Class B Volleyball action against the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks for a second time this week in Florence at 10 a.m.! Upon entering the tournament on Thursday, the Lady Copperheads blew away the St. Ignatius Bulldogs by beating them in THREE matches. However, a minor setback occurred later in the day when they fell short in their match-up against Thompson Falls, losing 3 to 1. Voice of the Copperheads, Blake Hempstead
