Local Initiative Supports Butte Senior Softball Players With New Scholarship
A new scholarship for senior softball players in Butte has been announced by Mike and Stacy Bauer of Play2WIN. Scholarship applications are available in the guidance counselor's office at either high school and must be postmarked by March 31. Scholarship recipients will be announced May 6 during the Copper City Softball Opening Day Ceremony.

To help youth experience the eclipse safely, a free public viewing opportunity has been coordinated with Montana Technological University and MYAP. Kids of all ages are invited to come to the Intramural Field at Montana Tech, located south of the HPER Building on West Park Street and east of the World Museum of Mining in Butte. Attendees will be able to safely view the eclipse through Solar viewing glasses and telescopes, while learning about the Science behind the eclipse as it happens.

Montana Tech head women’s basketball coach Jeff Graham announced his first recruiting class today. The Orediggers have six commits starting school in the fall with checking almost every box on the recruit checklist. In addition to the incoming six, the Orediggers return 10 student-athletes including starters Soda Rice and Aubrie Rademacher.
