Today, the Administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Robin Carnahan, visited Butte to announce more than $24 million in funding for improvements to the historic Mike Mansfield Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the largest climate investment in U.S. history.

Tomorrow June 4, the Administrator of the United States General Services Administration (GSA) will visit Butte, Montana, to announce major investments for a clean construction project at the Mike Mansfield Federal Building and United States Courthouse, as part of President Joe Biden’s Investing in America agenda. These investments will help tackle the climate crisis by building a clean energy economy, boosting American innovation, and creating good-paying jobs.

You are invited to bring your questions to a Business of Butte Public Forum featuring our four candidates for Chief Executive, Bill Foley, Raelynn Brandyl, Cathy "Moe" Goodwin and incumbent J.P. Gallagher. The forum will take place in the Copper Lounge located in the Student Union Building on the campus of Montana Tech on April 4 from 5 to 6:30pm. The candidates will discuss their vision of the future of business in Butte and the role of Montana Tech and its graduating seniors.
