Montana firefighters in LA to help battle massive wildfire.
Engine 3 from the Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department with Captain Jerod Gonzalez, Firefighter Levi Davenport and Firefighter Jake Hanley are meeting up with their strike team and along with Montana firefighters from other departments are on an estimated 18-day deployment to help battle the wildfires. The Montana crew has arrived and is awaiting inspection and deployment.

The Copper Heart Awards will be presented in collaboration between the Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department, Law Enforcement and A1 Ambulance and will be given to first reponders for their life-saving actions on May 26 at 1:30pm in the courthouse rotunda. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
