Butte has always had a special relationship with the annual Cat/Griz Football Game. Geographically, we're right between the two universities and in addition to sending several players to both teams' rosters, Butte even hosted the big game from 1926 to 1951. Let me be the first to say that I am not one to doubt the math that the people at Water and Environmental Technologies are showing. After all, they are some of the smartest people in town doing work that I can barely spell correctly, less understand. After last week's convincing win over Central Washington University, Oredigger fans are chomping the bit to get their beloved team back in town and back to work this Saturday. The Orediggers will open conference play against Eastern Oregon at 1pm at Bob Green Field at Alumni Coliseum and Metals Sports Bar and Grill on the corner of Park and Main is back with their first "Kegs and Eggs" party of the young season.
