As far as ambiance and aura goes, this one takes that cake, possibly one with a file baked inside. Monty Klistoff, the man behind the immensely popular "Fight Kingdom" series of boxing, kickboxing and MMA events that have rocked the Civic Center over the past several years, along with his crew from NXTGen Entertainment are bringing the show to the Old Montana Prison in Deer Lodge for an exciting fight card on July 13th. One that is eerily steeped in prison tradition.

Here in the year 2024, the literal stage will be set across several Southwest Montana parks and the players will be the men and women of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks with several upcoming performances scheduled in our area throughout the next several weeks.

The Old Montana Prison Halloween Haunted House is returning this year and its theme is "THERE'S TROUBLE IN THE CELLHOUSE". The event is sponsored by the Powell County Museum and Arts Foundation, and they tell us that "evil has taken over the Old Montana Prison in Deer Lodge" and warn you that this is one of the scariest Halloween attractions in Montana.
