Butte's Sports Icon Meg Murphy: Champion On The Court And In Fundraising
Meg Murphy has been spearheading an incredibly fun and successful fundraiser for the St. James Cancer Center. A fundraiser that for the past 16 years has raised over $200,000 for the center and its patients and created the first ever Cancer Center Endowment Fund at St. James. The fundraiser has helped create a consultation room for patient privacy, it has helped kickstart Southwest Montana's only lymphedema program, has helped to bring mobile mammography to Southwest Montana and has helped countless cancer patients in their time of need.
