Trick or Treating and More This Halloween in Southwest Montana
To the delight and anticipation of youngsters all across Southwest Montana there will be plenty of trick or treating around the area this year, and a few things for the adults to enjoy as well. Here's a brief rundown of some of the events you'll find this year.
Trick or Treating will be taking place Thursday at Butte's convalescent centers and rehabilitation homes as follows:
The Southwest Montana Veterans' Home at 65 Veterans' Circle in Butte will offer drive-thru trick or treating from 1pm to 3:30.
Door to door trick or treating will take place at Copper Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center at 3251 Nettie from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
The Crest Nursing Home at 3131 Amherst will have trick or treating from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
Beehive Homes of Butte at 2930 Elm will be hosting trick or treating from 2pm to 4pm.
Big Sky on Waterford at 3701 Elizabeth Warren will host "Trunk or Treat" from 3pm until the goodies are gone.
The Springs at Butte, 300 Mount Highland Drive, will have trick or treating from 6pm to 8pm.
Butte Cars & Coffee in conjunction with the Butte Plaza Mall and Mining City Mud present their 3rd annual Trunk or Treat event. Cars will arrive at 4:30pm, ghouls and gals arrive at 6:30pm at which time trick or treating will get underway.
There will be a Halloween Tailgate at Bretz RV and Marine, 5200 Harrison Avenue, from 1pm to 5pm. Enjoy candy and fun and enter to win a "Movie Night Basket".
Oredigger Hockey will be in action with games at the Community Ice Center Thursday and Friday at 7pm.
The YPN Rocky Mountain Association of Realtors will be hosting Halloween Singo Night Thursday at the Butte Elks Lodge #240 at 206 W. Galena. Doors open at 5pm and the event begins at 6:30pm, you must be 18 or older to attend, $10 per packet, prize for best costume.
