Americonda American Roots Music Jam Sunday at Smitty’s Barn
Make no mistake about it, we are heading into the festival season with live outdoor music being heard in venues all across Southwest Montana. One mini-festival of sorts is taking place this Sunday in a beautiful setting just a few miles outside of Anaconda along the pines and aspens of the Anaconda Range as Smitty's Barn will again be the site of the second annual Americonda American Roots Music Jam.
Americonda has some incredible national as well as homegrown talent again this year as 7 live acts will be performing in a gorgeous outdoor setting, including Grand Ole Opry veterans and Montana favorites Cruz Contreras & The Black Lillies. The event will start at 2pm and will also feature some of Southwest Montana's best food trucks and vendors on site. In case of inclement weather, which is possible, plans are in place to move the music inside to the more intimate barn area which has been a popular wedding reception location for decades and is just as pretty in it's own right.
Here is the lineup of who will be performing this Sunday.
- Cruz Contreras and The Black Lillies
- Buffalo Burrows
- Wes Urbaniak and The Mountain Folk
- Lena Rich and John DeGroot
- Tom Catmull
- Chad Okrusch
- Adin K with Sterling Drake
Gates open around noon and advance tickets are $40 and available here. The ticket price will increase to $50 the day of the show.
Smitty's Barn is at 50 Theater Lane in Anaconda, on Montana Highway 1 as you head out of town towards Georgetown Lake.
