The Anaconda Masonic Temple believes in doing things thoroughly and doing them well, whatever the project may be.  It was very evident last December in the Smelter City as the inaugural Christmas For Kids event took place with entertainment, activities and, of course Santa Claus for the youngsters of Southwest Montana.  This year the plans are even bigger as a whole stockings worth of fun is planned for the upcoming December but right now it's all about betting the money together.

LIVE AND SILENT AUCTION PLANNED FOR AUGUST

The Anaconda Masonic Temple is hosting a live and silent auction on Saturday, August 23rd at 1:00 PM at the Club Moderne, 801 E. Park in Anaconda to fund the event with some big-ticket items, snacks, libations and more.  "We will have food and beverages," John Goldberg, event organizer said, adding  "Some of the large items in the live auction this year are a vehicle, an electric bike and a storage shed."

AUCTIONS TO FUND MANY DECEMBER EVENTS FOR KIDS

Goldberg told us of some lofty plans for this December.  "The 2025 Christmas For Kids event will consist of a matinee at the Washoe Theater in Anaconda, Santa Claus at the Elks Club of Anaconda and bowling at Cedar Park Lanes, all free for the kids of Southwest Montana," he said adding that they have no plans of stopping any time soon. "This is our second annual and we plan to make it an annual event for the kids of Southwest Montana," he added.
If you need any further details or would like more information on Christmas For Kids 2025, please call John Goldberg at (406) 490-4817.
