A Preview Of Auction Items For 2023 Digger Auctions

We are less than two weeks away from the Montana Tech 2023 Miner’s Ball Digger Auction. This year’s auction is on April 15^th and will be held in the HPER on Kelvin Sampson court. This annual event is the primary fundraiser for Oredigger Athletics and Montana Tech student-athletes. Doors will open at 5 pm.

This is a night where we will see well over 100 silent auction items and 50+ live auction items. A large number of the items, you won’t find anywhere else. Oredigger Athletics has started previewing some of the truly unique items/experiences you can only find at the 2023 Miners Ball. Let’s take a look.

How about two days of world-class salmon fishing on the Kenai River in Alaska? Fenton Bros. Guided sport fishing in Soldotna, Alaska, leads a group of four anglers on the trip of a lifetime. The package includes airfare for four to Anchorage and four hotel rooms in Soldotna. All rods, reels, bait and tackle are provided. This is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip.

The Digger Auction always has incredible trips centered around sports, and this year is no exception.

How about THE Ohio State Buckeyes in South Bend to take on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame for only the eighth time in history? Saturday, September 23^rd is when the two titans will meet, and you could be there! This package includes two tickets to the game and $1000 for travel and lodging.

How about a supermarket sweep through uptown Butte’s Oredigger HQ, Dig City Supply? You will have a chance at bidding on a 60-second sprint through Dig City, grabbing as much incredible Oredigger swag as you can in the timeframe.

And the absolute staple of the live auction is the hand-made quilt by Una Schaebitz. Una has made a quilt for this auction; I believe every year! This years is another one-of-a-kind creation, and you can only find it at the Miners Ball Digger Auction.
