With the opening of the new Chipotle restaurant in the new Cornerstone Plaza on South Harrison Avenue, interest and crowds have been huge, as they usually are with the opening of any new restaurant in town.  Chipotle's specialty is the burrito and they are good.  They are very good.  But are they the best in town?  It's definitely a matter of opinion.  Chipotle is definitely corporate run and whether or not that is a good or a bad thing, here are a few local places that could give anyone a run for their money.

Don't let the fact that La Sirena is drive thru only deter you.  The line moves quickly and the food is worth any wait you may encounter.  Their huge burritos come with black or pinto beans, you can add a protein and if you want a slice of heaven get it topped with queso.

The great thing about Homestake Pub is that they are as generous with their portions as they are with their charity.  Their breakfast burrito which is available during their Sunday Brunch is incredible with your choice of bacon, sausage or peppers and onion with queso blanco AND fresco.  Delicious.
