Big Butte Brewfest set for Saturday at World Museum of Mining
There is nothing quite like a cold mug of beer of a hot summer day. Even better when it's accompanied by live music, good company and, well, more beer! Although gorgeous summer days are in short supply at this time of year, the forecast for Saturday is looking good as the 3rd Annual Big Butte Brewfest is set to take place from noon to 6pm on the grounds of the World Museum of Mining.
This annual brewfest is being put on by the World Museum of Mining along with Slainte Pub and it's going to be fun. Tickets are available for $35 and include a commemorative mug as well as 5 drink tickets, and it's not just beer that you will be able to enjoy. In addition to fantastic local breweries such as Butte Brewing Company, Headframe Spirits will be on hand offering a variety of their popular cocktails.
The entertainment this year will be top-notch as two of the Mining City's finest musicians are on the schedule. Tom Susanj will start things out on the Pavilion Stage followed by the incredible Chad Okrusch. Delicious food will be available as well as activities for all ages. General Admission for those 5 and up and for those not drinking is $5.
The Butte Chamber of Commerce will be offering trolley rides to and from the event departing at Slainte Pub on Montana Street, making it easy and fun to get to and from the celebration.
Help preserve Butte's Mining heritage and history and make plans to attend.
