For the Butte Central Maroons Football Team, the playoffs start Friday.  After one of their most successful seasons in years, the Maroons playoff aspirations come down to a single game while the cross country team heads to state and the volleyball team celebrates Senior Parent Night.  Here is a look at where you will find the Butte Central Maroons this week.

FOOTBALL

The Maroons have dropped two straight, albeit to the top two teams in the Southwest A in Hamilton and Frenchtown, but their playoff hopes remain alive with a single opponent standing between them and the post season.  The Dillon Beavers come to town with an identical 2-2 conference record with this game being the deciding factor on who moves on to the Class A Playoffs as the third seed.  Game time is set for 7pm Friday night at Bob Green Field on the campus of Montana Tech.  The Maroons will be celebrating Senior Parents Night.

CROSS COUNTRY

The final Saturday of the season is here as the Maroons Cross Country Team heads to the State A Cross Country Meet in Missoula at the University of Montana Golf Course.  The State A Meet will be held alongside the AA, B and C meets with events starting at 11am.

VOLLEYBALL

Thursday the Butte Central Volleyball Team heads to Frenchtown with the Frosh playing at 4:15pm, the JVs at 5:30pm and the varsities squaring off at 7pm.  On Saturday the Maroons celebrate Senior Parent Night as they host the Hamilton Broncs.  The Frosh will play at noon, the JVs at 1:30pm and the varsity match is at 3pm.
