Last week the Butte Central softball team nearly broke into the win column in a big way, nearly beating the championship-quality Dillon Beavers and the baseball team came within a run of their first two-game winning streak in program history.  Although both squads eventually lost their contests, confidence is growing, and spirits remain high as busy activities week lies ahead.  Here is where you will find the Maroons in action this week.

SOFTBALL

The Maroons will look to build on last week's momentum as they host the East Helena Vigilantes on Tuesday with the varsity contest at 3pm and the JVs at 5pm, Stodden Park Field #2.  The team will then head to the Bitterroot Valley on Saturday for a pair of contests.  The Maroons varsity will play at Hamilton at 11am followed by the JVs at 1pm and then make the short trip to Corvallis to face the Blue Devils varsity at 3pm and JVs at 5pm.

BASEBALL

Maroon Baseball will have a three game homestand this week at Three Legends Stadium.  The Maroons will host Billings Central on Monday, varsity at 3pm and JVs at 5pm before heading back on Thursday to take on the Dillon Beavers following the same schedule.  On Saturday, Belgrade comes to town with the varsities tangling at 11am followed by the JVs at 1pm.

TENNIS

BC Tennis will host the East Helena Vigilantes on Thursday at Stodden Park Courts with matches starting at 3pm.  On Saturday the Maroons will be back at Stodden to host the Stevensville Yellowjacket with matches beginning at noon.
