
Here is where the Butte Central Maroons will be in action next week
After a spring snowstorm wreaked havoc on Butte Central's planned baseball season opener last Tuesday, the Maroons opened the season with road win at Three Forks and will attempt to get things going at Three Legends Stadium this week. The girls softball team and track & field and tennis programs will also see action and here is where you can catch the Maroons in action this week.
BASEBALL
The Maroon baseball team will attempt their home opener this Tuesday against the East Helena Vigilantes at Three Legends Stadium at Copper Mountain Park. The varsity contest is set for 3pm with the JVs to follow at 5pm. If the weather cooperates, the Maroons will also be hosting the Laurel Locomotives on Saturday with the first pitch of the varsity game set for noon and the JV contest set for 2pm.
TENNIS
Three matches are on the slate for the Butte Central Tennis Team. On Tuesday the Maroons will host the Stevensville Yellowjackets at 3pm at Stodden Park. On Thursday the Maroons will head to an all day extravaganza being hosted by Park High School in Livingston. The Maroon will face the Hardin Bulldogs and the Dillon Beavers. On Saturday the Maroons will head to Lewistown to compete in the Fergus Meet with matches beginning at 8am.
TRACK & FIELD
One meet is on the schedule this week as the Maroons will head to the East Helena Meet on Saturday with events beginning at 9am.
SOFTBALL
There are no games on the schedule this week for the Butte Central Girls Softball Team.
