Butte Elks hosting a full slate of activities this weekend
Whether you want to get down and boogie, enjoy a good meal or just want the chance to stand up from your table and yell BINGO, well, the Elks in Uptown Butte has got a seat for you.
BINGO WITH THE QUEENS ON FRIDAY
Friday night is going to be a lot of fun as our local roller derby team, the Copper City Queens, will be hosting Bingo Night. Doors open at 6pm and the first game is at 7, you must be 18 to attend. The Queens are also accepting game sponsors, so if your business or organization would like to help out, send them a message on Facebook, or stop by Friday night to find out more.
One of Butte's most talented trios will be taking the stage on Saturday as the Restless Pines bring their unique, Americana-eque sound to the Elks stage at 8pm. Not to discourage dancing, as you definitely will want to, but if there is one band in town to just sit back, watch and enjoy, it is Restless Pines. Not only is their set list unique, but their musicianship as well as their song interpretation and presentation is what simply sets them apart. You're going to love them. 8pm Saturday.
WRESTLING CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST SUNDAY
Another fundraiser pancake breakfast will be taking place on Sunday from 9 to 11:30 and this time money raised will go to the Butte Wrestling Club. Breakfast is $10 per plate and includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, juice and coffee. Kids 5 and under are served free of charge. The club "strives to expose every child to the sport of wrestling and teaches them about sportsmanship and life through wrestling. For the last 2 seasons registration fees have been waived, thanks to donations, to allow more Butte kids to compete."
