Here are some fun things happening in Butte this week

We are officially more than halfway through July and may have even entered the "dog days" of summer.  Don't let the heat keep you in.  Here are some fun things that are happening this week that are fun for the whole family.

WEDNESDAY - LUNCH IN THE PARK

Bring your appetite for some of Butte's best food trucks and one of Butte's rising new bands, Slovie's Love, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.  Enjoy their blend of rock and country classics while checking out vendors like Charee's Thai Food, Brown Gringo Taco and Blissful Berry Bowls to name a few.

THURSDAY - MUSIC ON MAIN

Music on Main starts at 6pm this Thursday evening and will feature a Montana-based band, Off In The Woods, playing originals with a reggae-funk flair.  Food trucks, vendors and even the famous bubble machine for the kids are expected again so remember a few extra towels but remember to leave your pets and outside food and beverages at home.

SATURDAY - HELSINKI THUNDER RUN

It will start with a bike parade beginning at Copper Canyon Harley Davidson that hits the road at 1:30 and heads north to the Helsinki Bar for an afternoon of food trucks, a swap meet and bike show plus bike games and contests throughout the day.  Butte's High Ore Road will play a street dance from 6 to 9pm and admission to the event is free.  For questions, please text Greg McDonald at (406) 498-8272.  Part of the proceeds will go to the Braach's Service Dogs for Veterans program.
