Summer is just around the corner, and that means live music, great food, and community vibes at Emma Park! Let’s talk about this year’s exciting lineup.

We are officially more than halfway through July and may have even entered the "dog days" of summer. Don't let the heat keep you in. Here are some fun things that are happening this week that are fun for the whole family.

Get ready to feast this Wednesday as Emma Park transforms into a foodie paradise, filled with tempting treats from local vendors.

There is just something about outdoor music in the second half of summer that rings true to a lot of us, and there might not be a more fitting way to end the season's "Lunch in the Park" series than with "Dinner in the Park". That's exactly what's happening tonight, and this might just be the best one of the summer, as the Butte Symphony will spread across the Emma Park Gazebo (and probably into the adjoining space) to entertain hungry music lovers of all ages starting at 5:30pm. Under the direction of Luis Millan, the Butte Symphony is in its 74th season of bringing the joy and healing power of music to Southwest Montana and tonight's performance is completely free of charge.

Good news for Butte's food truck aficionados. We've got another one opening for the season late Wednesday morning, and this is definitely one worth checking out. In fact, this particular food truck, in addition to offering a bevy of delicious treats throughout the summer, is one with a purpose. A very noble purpose and one very deserving of your support.

One of Butte's most popular summer events, Lunch in the Park, returns to Emma Park this Wednesday from 11:30am until 1:30pm. Lunch in the Park is a family friendly gathering of families, community members and folks on their lunch break who want some sunshine in their afternoon along with a song or two and maybe something from the food trucks that are on hand.

Finally, it's that time of year when you're not confined to a cramped cubicle, a crowded restaurant or, even worse, your car's interior while trying to enjoy lunch. With the sunshine and warm weather comes another season of Lunch in the Park at Emma Park which is going to get underway in just a couple of weeks.

Multitalented multi-instrumentalist Ken Rich will be performing Wednesday at Lunch in the Park at Emma Park from 11:30 to 1:30 and you can again expect food trucks, kids activities and a lot of fun.

Weren't we just talking about how we couldn't believe summer was finally here? Well just like that we are in mid-August and down to the final two "Lunch in the Park" events at Emma Park that we've enjoyed over the past several weeks. Tomorrow it is going to be one of the hottest days of the year and Emma Park will have several ways for folks to enjoy the sunshine and a number of delicious options for lunch.

After an incredible Dinner in the Park with the Butte Symphony last week, Lunch in the Park at Emma Park went back to its regular 11:30 to 1:30 hours on Wednesday and the multitalented Fuzzy B kept the hungry crowd entertained on a beautiful Uptown afternoon at Emma Park.
