Are you ready for the 4th Cruise Nite of the summer?  It's hard to believe that we're this far in already but we really have to hand it to our listeners and Cruise Nite fans who have showed up in huge numbers so far.  Lets take a look at some of the highlights of our first three events.  Things started out in huge fashion at GTR Towing and Repair way back in June.

The Butte Depot held their first ever Cruise Nite and the turnout was incredible.  Just look at the lines of vehicles we had lined up on the back lot.

We followed that up with a date at Rocky Mountain Car Wash on Harrison Avenue where we always can count on a huge turnout.  This year was no exception.

This week we are headed to another one of our most popular Cruise Nite destinations as Butte's Ace Hardware at 2607 Harrison Avenue will be our host business.  Bring your classic cars and trucks out as well as your motorcycles and register to win our Peoples Choice Award.  We hand them out to the top vote-getter in the 2-wheel category and the 4-wheel category.  Registration begins promptly at 6pm so be sure to get there early for one of the best parking and display spaces.  We will close down the voting at 7:30pm and will announce the winner just before 8pm.

LOOK: See how much gasoline cost the year you started driving

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

Read on to explore the cost of gas over time and rediscover just how much a gallon was when you first started driving.
