The LIFE Foundation Meditation Center in Butte is all about healing, particularly for those who have been through trauma or tragedy.  These days, that covers a very wide area and includes a large number of people.  We see soldiers returning from active duty who have seen unthinkable things.  There are victims and survivors of domestic abuse struggling to come to terms with their personal horrors.  Child abuse.  The list goes on and on.  We are a society that in many ways are in need of healing.

The LIFE Foundation Meditation Center provides a safe and secure atmosphere for those who are undergoing intensive therapy.  They are a beacon of hope in a dark world for many people here in Southwest Montana. They provide artist retreats, a seasonal youth camp and veterans healing therapy.  Elder recognition and honoring.  Even women's retreats, a fishing and hunting camp and many types of ceremonies including traditional Native talking groups, meditation sessions and even weddings. Their mission, however, is dependent on the generosity of kind individuals and here is some information on how you can help this very worthy organization.

Friday, October 25th, the LIFE Foundation will be holding a fundraiser at the Butte Depot, 818 S. Arizona.  Festivities are planned from 6pm to 2am and will feature live music, a 50/50 drawing, a silent auction and delicious catered food.  Items are needed for the silent auction and interested individuals or businesses are encouraged to contact Kim Leathers at (406) 565-8406 for details and information.  Please reach out to Kim by text.
