High Ore Road at Thursday’s Music on Main

Music on Main returns Thursday evening with a favorable weather forecast, a Butte band taking the stage and a wonderful evening full of food trucks and fun planned as we head into the second half of the popular summer music series.

Festivities will again begin at 6pm with complimentary Shirley Temples for the kids and $5 food truck vouchers for the first 60 kids who show up.  Expect everything from burgers and dogs to European cuisine and a variety of beverages available.  Since the weather forecast is looking good we can assume with some degree of certainty that the foam machine will be out as well, so be sure to bring along a few extra towels if your kids plan on splashing around.

On stage Thursday will be Butte's High Ore Road, consisting of Tom Billteen on drums, Pete Heidt on guitar and Tom O'Neill playing bass.  The band performs a variety of classic rock, country and the occasional blues number thrown in.  The trio will start their performance at 6pm on the big stage between Northwestern Energy and the M&M on Main Street between Park and Broadway.

Music on Main will have vendors of all kinds on site so please leave outside food and beverages at home and remember that Music on Main is also a pet-free event.  Your cooperation is appreciated in advance.

Although the forecast is promising, inclement weather, as we have seen, can always develop.  If the weather decides not to cooperate, the music and festivities will be moved to The Covellite at 215 W. Broadway.
