‘Home Alone’ Performance at Cutler Brothers runs through December 23rd
To completely fulfill the holiday season, local theatre is a nice added touch! Since early December, Cutler Brothers Theatre in Deer Lodge has brought to the stage the production of Home Alone II, Lost in New York. Cutler Brother's presentations know how to "bring it", and you may even recognize an actor or two during the performance. According to Cutler Brother insiders, after a successful run of the original Home Alone in December of 2021, theatre directors and producers knew the stage adaptation of John Hughes' Christmas comedy sequel would be a hit on the Cutler Brothers' stage. As a result, many of the same scenes and characters portrayed in the film are front and center for the LIVE theatre version in Deer Lodge.
Taking to the stage for the final week of Home Alone II: Lost in New York at Cutler Brothers Theatre is JT Perkins of Deer Lodge's Rising Star Academy, starring as the slick but misunderstood Kevin McCallister himself. Seasoned actors Josh Pentland of Deer Lodge and Dan Mitchum of Butte play the roles of meddling slapstick criminals Harry and Marv. Plus, a fantastic array of cast members makes for a great ensemble, including members of the Cutler family. The back story, of course, is how Kevin somehow inadvertently gets left behind by his family during the holidays but, in a roundabout scenario, ends up having more fun than anyone along the way.
Interested theatergoers can see the performance one last time on December 21st, 22nd, or 23rd, beginning at 7:30 p.m., all three nights. Tickets for Home Alone II: Lost in New York are $20 and available HERE. You can also contact Cutler Brothers Theatre at (406) 846-4096 or visit them on Facebook. So, keep the holiday spirit alive with "LIVE" theatre this week, and remember to yell..."KEVIN"!
