Quick and to the point; we are pretty much allowed to do whatever we please in the United States of America.  Aside from setbacks along the way, our liberties are plentiful and far exceed those of third world countries. So, when important and poignant life changing events arise such as 911, it should be instilled in us how important it is to remember the events that changed the path of our nation on September 11, 2001.

In the past, local communities have been incredible and instrumental in honoring 911 and many crucial events like Veteran's Day (Remembrance Day) and countless others. The reason it is so important to CONTINUE to honor these events is to remember and pay tribute to  those who lost their lives in such inhumane attacks, show respect to the families who lost their loved ones, and furthermore, to demonstrate what should never be allowed to happen in our nation or across the globe ever again.

This is the case of so many historic events. The list of inhumane occurrences that have happened in the United States and around the world are far too numerous to fathom. The importance of talking about tragic events that have affected our existence as a whole and creating a valid social platform for it, gives great validity to its magnitude. So, for a sound moment today in remembrance of 911, please reach out to a friend or family member, to recall the events that changed the direction of our country in the most profound way. To those affected directly and in the aftermath of 911, respectfully know that you are remembered and honored beyond words 21 years later.
