MDT announces road construction in Dillon now substantially complete
The following is a release from the Montana Department of Transportation:
DILLON, Mont. – The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and its partner, L&J Construction Group LLC, have substantially completed improvements on North Interchange Road in Dillon. The half-mile segment received new pavement, seal and cover (chip seal), bridge repairs, new guardrail, and new signage. Permanent epoxy pavement markings are expected to be completed in late August.
The project aimed to enhance the safety and efficiency of this corridor, reducing maintenance costs and improving travel conditions for local residents and businesses. These upgrades are part of MDT’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving Montana’s infrastructure, ensuring long-term durability and reliability of the state's roadways. The collaboration with L&J Construction Group LLC has been central in achieving these goals.
Be prepared for delays so before you leave, download MDT’s mobile app “MDT 511”, or visit 511mt.net and check your route. If you're driving and want to check in, pull safely off the road and dial 511. Tune in to local radio stations and watch for variable message signs along the route.
