Dillon Jaycees Turn A Park Dinner Into A Full Night Of Food And Live Music
The Dillon Jaycees tonight are hosting another Dinner in the Park with one of Butte's favorite bands, JST Us, performing from 6pm to 8pm at Jaycee Park.
You may have caught JST Us at Music on Main earlier this summer or a couple of weekends ago at Anaconda's Art in the Park and let me tell you that they are well worth the drive. Tonight's bandshell at Jaycee Park in Dillon will be a perfect setting to enjoy their show.
Dinner in the Park is a weekly event that is put on by the Dillon Jaycees who do an immeasurable amount of good in Dillon and in Beaverhead County. Just look at the incredible park, for example. It is privately funded and maintained and would be a feather in the cap of any town in Montana. There is a splash pool that cleanly and effectively recycles the water it uses. There is a huge lawn area. Playground equipment. The cleanest restrooms you will find at any park anywhere. The Jaycees host a different charity each week to sell dinner, usually for around $15 all-inclusive, and 100% of the money raised goes back to said charity. Tonight it will be the Rotary Club selling bratwurst dinners so come hungry and bring the whole family.
Dinner in the Park will wrap up next week with Sammy Steele performing and the charity of the event will be Early Childhood Coalition of Beaverhead County.
A special thank-you to Dinner in the Park sponsors, without whom the events would not be possible. Harrington Bottling Company of Butte, Stockman Bank, Bicentennial Incorporated, Matador Ranch and Cattle and The Mini convenience store and car wash.
