Kaci Wenger benefit September 9 at Butte Depot
The friends and family of Kaci Wenger Erichsen have planned a benefit fundraiser at the Butte Depot, 818 S. Arizona, on Saturday, September 9.
Kaci is a working mother of two young children who was involved in a horrific car accident on May 19 in which she was ejected from the vehicle suffering numerous life-threatening injuries. Kaci was life-flighted to Missoula and later to Salt Lake City where she remained in a coma for nearly a month. Kaci miraculously regained consciousness but remained in a Salt Lake City rehabilitation center nursing injuries including a shattered pelvis, broken leg, two broken wrists, brain bleeding and numerous other issues.
Since the date of the accident, care of Kaci's two young children, Noah and Austyn Grace has fallen on her loving family who are now dealing with not only the cost of raising two young children, but the staggering cost of Kaci's medical care as well as the transportation and lodging costs of visiting Kaci in Utah as she recovers. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to pay for ongoing medical treatment, travel costs associated with treatment, care for Noah and Austyn Grace and the many expenses that are adding up due to lost income due to Kaci being unable to work.
The fundraiser will start at 3pm at the Butte Depot and organizers are planning both a live and a silent auction as well as a raffle, a 50/50 drawing, dinner and live entertainment. Also available right now are raffle tickets for a Savage Axis II 7mm-08 Remington rifle. Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100 and the winner will be drawn at the fundraiser, need not be present to win. Organizers are also looking for additional items and services for the auctions and are grateful as well for any and all monetary donations. All donations are tax deductible and if you or your business can help out, or to purchase a gun raffle ticket, please contact Rachel at (406) 491-3496.
