Montana Tech to unveil new Valley Bank Videoboard and Interactive Scorers Table on Friday
Fans of the Montana Tech Orediggers will have a big reason to cheer this weekend and not just because both the men's and women's teams are home after a long road stretch and both are currently ranked in the nation's Top 20. Friday night, the Montana Tech Orediggers in conjunction with their friends at Valley Bank of Butte will unveil a big upgrade to the arena at the Montana Tech HPER complex. Making it's debut appearance, a jumbo sized video screen on the south wall and also an advanced, interactive scorer's table that will bring dazzling visuals to the crowd as well as an array of features that allow real-time statistics to be compiled and shared with those in attendance.
In addition to the flashy graphics and video capabilities, the new system will also allow for better communication of game information between the scorer's table and the Orediggers live stream broadcast, already by far the best in the Frontier Conference. What it means for the fans is a wealth of game information, such as individual statistics like points, fouls and minutes played will be prominently featured allowing for a more immersive experience.
For the school, in addition to the obvious cosmetic upgrades, the new video board offers an abundance of opportunities for those currently sponsoring the Orediggers or those who would like to be a partner in the future. Anyone who would like to become a game sponsor or would like further information on how they can partner with Oredigger Athletics, call the Orediggers Director of External Athletic Communications Paul Panisko at (406) 496-4896.
