Music on Main ready to roll into Week #2 with great music, food and fun
Well, after an incredible 2025 debut last week, we learned several things about Music on Main. First, of all, bands from Butte, like Aberdeen Alley, absolutely rock and the community will come out and support them in droves when given the opportunity.
Secondly, there is a wealth of upcoming young, musical talent in this town as BMX-Butte Music eXperience proved and we can look forward to seeing them on the big stage again at the end of the series.
We also learned that Music on Main is featuring some of the best food trucks and vendors that you'll find anywhere in Montana at any festival or large gathering.
This week is no exception. On the music side, we've got Sterling Drake performing. What makes him special in addition to his natural talent is his championing of mental health, particularly for ranchers. His music is roots-based and heartfelt and his show will be loved by all ages. Here's a taste, pardon the pun.
Here's a list of the vendors and food trucks that we are expecting to see serving the masses this evening:
- Black Dog Creamery
- Charee's Thai Food
- Copper City Cravings
- Extra Sprinkles
- Tacos el Yucatero
- Taste of Europe
- The Local
- Turk's Food Truck
- Trailer Toys
- Roasted Nuts
- Poppa Tom's Kettle Corn
- Bada Bing
Plus, the Butte Brewing Company will be serving some of their locally-brewed beer and the bubble machine is expected to be out so remember to bring a couple of extra towels for the kids along with your lawn chairs. Please remember to leave your pets, coolers and outside food at home and keep the focus on the vendors on hand who make this such a special summertime event here in the Mining City. We'll see you at 6 on Main!
