It's time to put on your boogie shoes and get on that mountain bike.  Okay, the disco hit may have different lyrics but that should not take away from a fun mountain bike event coming up on October 11th headquartered at the Discover Ski Area parking lot that will raise money for the Anaconda Trail Society.

The Anaconda Trail Society is hosting "6 Hours of Disco", a cross-country mountain bike race.  The event is a race against the clock to complete as many laps as you can in 6 hours on a beautiful 5.5 mile course around the Echo Lake Trail System and will start and finish in the parking lot at the base of Discovery Ski Area.  The event is suitable for all levels of riders and benefits The Anaconda trail Society- a  non profit group in helping with trail development and maintenance and promoting outdoor recreation,

You are invited to compete as an individual, team of two, or team of three  Food, fun and prizes are part of the fun and enthusiastic event.  Winners will be awarded custom trophies in the following categories:

  • Women Individual
  • Men Individual
  • Double Team
  • Triple Team

As a racer, you will be entered into a free raffle to win exciting prizes from various national and local sponsors. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased as well to increase your chance of winning. Please check the weather prior to race day. This event will be held, rain or shine, or even snow.  Organizers note you should dress in your most fun and exciting outfits and to remember everything is about fun.
