Rolling Suicide Brings System of a Down Tribute to The Covellite

Butte is in for a night of heavy riffs, chaotic breakdowns and plenty of headbanging when Missoula's Rolling Suicide takes the Stage at the Covellite on Saturday, August 22.

The band, a tribute to System of a Down, aims to recreate the sound, intensity and unpredictability that helped make the California rock group one of the most influential bands of the 2000s.  Fans can expect familiar favorites including "Chop Suey!", "Toxicity" and "Aerials" along with deeper cuts likely to satisfy longtime System of a Down fans.

Rolling Suicide's performance promises to move between soaring melodies and explosive, heavy passages, capturing the distinctive combination of melody, aggression and eccentricity that became a hallmark of System of a Down.

Also joining the lineup is Skadget, a project created from the creative vision of Dead Ed.  The group blends psychedelic textures with heavy, experimental rock, producing an immersive sound that explores what it describes as the strange and surreal corners of the subconscious.

Together, the two acts offer a varied night of live music at one of Butte's best live music venues.

The show is open to all ages.  Doors open at 9pm with the music beginning at 10pm.  Advance tickets are $15 and available here.  Tickets will be $20 the day of the show.
