Rodney Atkins to play Original Mineyard for pre-fireworks concert July 3rd
There really is no place in America that celebrates Independence Day the way that Butte, Montana does. Find another place that gets things rocking and rolling around lunchtime. On the 3rd of July. Butte has been doing that for years and with the opening of the Original Mineyard as a public recreation and concert area things are only getting bigger and better Uptown on the third as another major Country artist has been booked for a pre-fireworks concert. A few years back we got Lanco. This year, Bill Fisher and Railway Productions are proud to announce an even bigger pre-4th headliner and it's Rodney Atkins.
Atkins had his first hit single in 2003 with "Honesty (Write Me a List)" but broke through in a big way in 2006 with a pair of chart-toppers in "Watching You" and "If You're Going Through Hell".
Atkins followed up his success with another pair of number-ones in 2007 with "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In)" and "Farmer's Daughter".
Other top ten hits of Atkins' career include "These Are My People", "It's America", "Take a Back Road" and "Just Wanna Rock and Roll"
Atkins' performance will conclude as the 2014 Town Pump July 3rd Fireworks Show begins giving concert goers a prime spot to enjoy both shows with beverages and food trucks on site and within easy reach.
Tickets for the show are available online now and if you have any questions, please call the Butte Depot at (406) 782-2102.
